Hi Kara. Really good to hear from you. The climate varies massively between the polar region (which is a cold desert) and the coastal areas (that are warmer and wetter). Where we are the temperatures have been about -15 degrees during the day. It’s felt a lot colder though because of the wind. We’ve had quite a lot of snow – about 35cm in the last few days. Hi Beth. It is very cold but I think I am getting more used to it now. It is about 1 degree in the tent at the moment and I don’t have my gloves or hat on and I feel quite warm.
