I’ve always wanted to go to Antarctica. It’s so unexplored, so remote, its climate so extreme. I know that I’ll be pushing myself to the limits when I’m there and I like a challenge. I also care a lot about the environment and the effect we have on the environment. I want to find out more about climate change and what Antarctica can tell us.
I hope that my visiting there will enable pupils to gain a better understanding of Antarctica and will help them to understand more about the importance of our environment and the role science plays in all of our lives.
By following this blog I’m hoping that you will find out a bit more about what is involved in carrying out science research and hopefully you’ll play a big part in helping me to find something new and exciting.
